Prior to joining LIU, William worked for an international insurance company based in US for 3 years as their Regional D&O and Casualty Claims Specialist. During that time he primarily handled all the third party claims for North Asia, including China and Korea. Before this William spent 7 years in legal practice as an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice Groups of 3 high profile legal firms in Hong Kong, Baker & McKenzie, Lovells and Deacons.

William gained his Bachelor of Laws at The University of Hong Kong, and his Master of Laws at The London School of Economics and Political Science. William is legally qualified and admitted to practice as a solicitor in both Hong Kong and England. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Corporate Counsel
Association.
