She started her career as a lawyer working in the UK and Singapore, focusing on the marine market. She then joined a well known marine loss adjusters company where she was responsible for
managing claims and recoveries. She subsequently joined the managers of the world’s largest P&I Club handling all aspects of marine claims for shipowners, logistic and terminal operators, dealing with charter party disputes, advising on cover issues and conducting seminars for the Club members. Puspa joined LIU in 2007.
Puspa spent a year working as a legal officer to the United Nations World Food Programme in Rome, Italy. She qualified with a Masters in Law at King’s College, London specialising in marine subjects. She has also been called to the English and Singapore Bar.
